This is a race proven exhaust system suitable for the street. You'll see a 7 – 15% increase in horsepower depending on what other modifications you have made to your engine. I designed this set for my own race car when I was running a production 914-4. We have made minor changes to the basic design to allow it to be used with ported heads for modified engines. While some people believe "bigger is better", we have found that the 1 ½" tube gives you the horse power and torque in the power band of the type 4 engine. These headers fit from 1.7 liter to 2.++ engines.

Exhaust system has been designed to use a 2 ½" ID X 4" OD SuperTrapp muffler which exits through the factory hole in the rear valance.
